I write because it’s what I enjoy. And people pay me for it because they enjoy what I write. (Plus, what I write helps solve business challenges.)

Because I’m at the intersection of those two truths, I consider myself really, really fortunate. I mean, I get to do what I like and get paid…how cool is that?

It’s way cool. But returning to that first truth—I enjoy writing—I write to write, too. Not just when the writing’s coupled with my sending an invoice. I write for me. Always have, always will.
